BLOCK SIX NORTH

This site contains the Boiler House (Building 10), the Research Lab (Building 14), the Paint Shop (Building 15), the iconic Grain Silos (Building 16) and approximately 32,000 square feet of land.  Block Six North will be the site of the uniquely designed 10,000 square foot pocket park.  This green space was designed by the international award winning D.I.R.T. Studios.  The park will be complete with grass, trees, benches, reclaimed cobblestone walkways and an elegant seasonal gabion ice wall.

The Boiler House (Building 10), the Research Lab (Building 14), the Paint Shop (Building 15) have been sold and will be redeveloped into approximately 86,000 square feet of office space.  The Grain Silos (Building 16) has approximately 12,700 square feet of roof top space that could be transformed into a regional destination restaurant.  These buildings are immediately adjacent to a parking plaza containing over 70 parking stalls which is scheduled to be available in November 2008.  Located within one block of Block Six North will be the approximately 880 stall parking structure that will open in October 2009.

BLOCK SIX SOUTH

This site is composed of  the Brew House (Building 20), the Mill House (Building 21) and approximately 28,000 square feet of land.  The Brew House (Building 20) and the Mill House (Building 21) represent two of the most dramatic spaces in all of downtown Milwaukee.

The Cream City brick  that makes up the exterior of the Brew House (Building 20) is just the beginning for this jewel of a building.  It has a spectacular three-story atrium along with a world famous stained glass window and six copper brew kettles that are complete with stainless steel flues.  The ground floor space has a wonderful series of arched openings and is immediately adjacent to the area's uniquely designed 10,000 square foot pocket park.  This park will be complete with grass, trees, benches, reclaimed cobblestone walkways and an elegant seasonal gabion ice wall.

The Brew House (Building 20) is a four-story building has approximately 39,213 gross square feet of space and can be combined with the Mill House (Building 21) and/or the adjacent 0.64 acre land site.  This building is immediately adjacent to a parking plaza containing over 70 spaces and is across North 10th Street from the approximately 880 stall parking structure which is scheduled to open in October 2009.

The Mill House (Building 21) is another example of a Cream City brick exterior structure that is matched with dramatic interior spaces.  Some of the building’s interior has 30 foot floor to ceiling conditions complete with brick vaulted ceilings.  This building contains 34,435 gross square feet with the ability to add significant square footage by introducing mezzanine areas and additional floors in the high bay areas.  It is located on the northwest corner of North
10th Street and West Juneau Avenue, across from the approximately 880 stall parking structure which is scheduled to open in October 2009.
